- Suggested Specification for Stocked Veneers: "Face veneers will be of HPVA (Hardwood Plywood Veneer Association) premium A-Grade thickness and properly kiln dried."
- Specification Regarding 5-Ply Doors: The face veneer will be bonded to a single-ply base panel forming a 2-ply and 1/8" door-face veneer."
- Suggested Specification for High Pressure Decorative Laminate (HPDL): "Faces will be 1/16" thick (.050) high-pressure laminate meeting latest edition of NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association ) standard LD3. Color, finish and pattern will be selected by architect."
