Haley's Architectural Lead-Lined X-Ray doors are designed for hospitals, research laboratories, and areas where radiation protection is required. In order to maintain balance, lead will be applied to one or both sides of the core material depending on shielding requirements from 1/32" (2 lbs.) up to 3/32" (6 lbs.)

Thickness: 1 3/4″
Core: Particleboard Lead
Thickness: 1/32″ (2 lbs. per sq. ft.) 1/16″ (4 lbs. per sq. ft.) and 3/32″ (6 lbs per sq. ft.)
Stiles*: 1 3/8″ bonded to core.
Rails*: 1 1/8″ minimum; bonded to core..
Faces: All commercially available hardwood species and hi-pressure decorative laminates (HPDL) backed with dual layer high-density fiberboard (HDF.)
Adhesives: Type-I Interior
Lites and Louvers: Leaded louvers or X-Ray glass may be installed. Lights may be installed with leaded metal frame . 1/4″ X-Ray glass shields to the equivalent of 1/16″ (#4) lead.
Prefitting: May be factory machined for hardware as specified.
Other Detailed Work: Metal louvers and lite stops as specified. Wood light stops to match faces.
Finishing: All species available raw or with water-borne stain base UV finish that meets or exceeds WDMA or AWI system TR-6. EPA and California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved.
